Neil Young is offering free access to his entire music catalog to residents of Greenland for up to one year.
Young called it a gesture of support for people in the Danish territory dealing with tensions involving the U.S. and NATO.
The offer is for a year (renewing is possible) and applicants need to have a Greenland-based cellphone. “This is an offer of Peace and Love,” he wrote on his personal blog.
Justin Bieber and Tate McRae lead this year’s Juno Award nominations, with six nods each.
Both are up for artist and album of the year. They’ll also go head-to-head in the single of the year category, with Bieber’s Daisies competing against McRae’s Sports Car.
The Weeknd earned five nominations, including album of the year for Hurry Up Tomorrow. Newcomer Cameron Whitcomb also picked up five nods, including breakthrough artist of the year.
The Junos will be handed out March 28th and 29th in Hamilton.
